The Beast of the Apocalypse

Biography

Something inherently foul appears to run in the waters of the Friesland region of The Netherlands. After having spawned an offspring bearing the name De Magia Veterum, another creature emerged of a similar nature, but in a different manifestation. H.T. Mozes and S. Serpentijn formed The Beast of the Apocalypse in 2008, with the clear purpose of recreating the magic once created by Black Metal bands such as Beherit, Samael and Archgoat.

The Beast's first 'official' album, A Voice from the Four Horns of the Golden Altar, was released in October of 2009 by Transcendental Creations. The album is divided into six acts that delve straight into the apocryphal texts of ancient times.
The duo struck again in 2011 with a second abomination of dark mystical metal, seeking and exploring the realm of the One, the Source, the Ultimate, that which the ancients called HENOSIS. On this sophomore album, The Beast of the Apocalypse digs deeper in the soil of past cults and ancient mystics' interpretation of the mystery of HENOSIS.
